The Challenge
Car Showroom Floors – Quartz Carpet.
BMW South Africa is one of CT Floor’s loyal and valued clients and we have always risen to meet any challenge we have faced for them.
As with a lot of Car Showroom Floors we tend to specify and install Quartz Carpet.
The main challenge with this particular project was that it was of extreme importance that the floor be protected while any work was done over them. We worked with the main contractor to prepare the surface of this refurbished building. To speed up the process, a new, fast setting, concrete screed was laid which enabled us to start the final installation two days after the screed was laid.
The new Quartz Carpet floor was installed after most of the work was completed, just before shop-fitting was started. The preparation and installation of this project took three days, and we required everyone to wait another day before commencing with the shop fitting.
