The Challenge
Battery Bay Floors – Stonhard Stonclad HF
We were challenged with specifying a product that would, in the long term, be extremely hardwearing, slip resistant and able to withstand chemical attack, such as battery acid spillage for the GUD Filters Battery Bay Floors.
Stonhard Stonclad HF was our first choice, simply because it admirably ticked all these boxes.
An additional challenge was the quick turnaround time required for the whole project to be completed as the plant had to start working as soon as possible. Accordingly, CT Flooring managed the installation of this project within three days from start to finish!
Preparation was done by roughening the concrete surface with a scarifier. It was subsequently properly cleaned and all other surfaces were protected against spillage.

Stonhard Stonclad HF polyurethane is designed to withstand thermal shock, heavy loading, abrasion and wet exposure areas where a durable, hard wearing, easily cleanable surface is required.
