Restaurant Floor – Grinded Concrete
Our client wanted a strong, durable, rustic looking floor that would give the feel of an old, warm restaurant environment.
The challenge here was that this area was reclaimed from the parking deck of the Hide Park Shopping Centre. We therefore had to remove the old decking system before we could start preparing the concrete.
Some old decking product was deliberately left in the concrete in order to enhance the rustic feel of the area.

As always the solution was found, not only in our professional installation experience, but in the choice of the right product. In this case we used Grinded, Exposed concrete sealed with CemenTech OptiSeal.
The product is hard wearing, rustic and entirely in keeping with the client’s mandate.
The Outcome
Having used the right product and with expert installation, the end result was totally in keeping with the mandate and exceeded the expectations of our client. They now have a beautiful, rustic, functional restaurant floor that, provided it is correctly maintained, will last indefinitely.
