Cemcrete Colour Hardener
The Challenge
This large up market residential renovation project posed a challenge in that the client wanted something exceptionally beautiful and heated, but firstly all old screed down to the concrete slab had to be remove.
The product specified was a brilliant choice that would meet all their requirements – A Cemcrete Colour Hardener system.
Underfloor heating was then installed and a new, specially designed CT Floors micro concrete was installed into which the Colour Hardener was floated.

The Solution
Cemcrete Colour Hardener is a granolithic concrete material that is floated into fresh screed which strengthens and colours concrete floors. It is a special blend of cement, very hardwearing aggregates, light fast pigments and certain additives which set rock-hard, has exceptional abrasion resistance.
The Outcome
The challenge was overcome once again through our expert installation experience and the ability in this case to devise an especially designed micro- concrete to exactly match our client’s specifications.
The end result is not only stunning to look at, fitting for his beautiful home, but it is an expertly installed, functional floor that will serve the clients for many years to come providing it is correctly maintained.
