The Challenge
The challenge with this valued and loyal client since 2014, Mercedes Benz, is that we have done numerous showrooms for them across the country and set the bar very high. Each time we strive to surpass our last effort.
This project was originally done by us in 2014 when we installed a decorative cement floor. The specification was later to change to a Quartz Carpet to replace the existing floor.
The previous floor finish was grinded in order to remove the old sealer and prepare the surface to receive the Quartz Carpet application. An additional challenge was that it was obviously of extreme importance that the floor be protected while any work was done over the floors.

The Solution
We came in to install the new Quartz Carpet floor when most of the work was completed, just before shop-fitting was started. The preparation and installation of this project took just one day and we required everyone to wait another day before commencing with the shop fitting.
Regarding the product – for car showroom floors, Quartz Carpet flooring is a non-slip, decorative, seamless quartz floor well suited for both interior and exterior applications.
The Outcome
Thanks to our familiarity with the right product – and our experience in its application – we once again met and surpassed our client’s mandate. A perfectly installed floor that accentuates the beauty and class of the vehicles displayed on it.
