The Challenge
Our challenge was to provide our client with a cost effective, strong, durable epoxy floor for this substation building, but there was previously carpet installed in the medical facility. This carpet had to be stripped, and the glue was removed by PCD grinding.
The product specified for this project was MasterTop® 1210 – which offered a perfect solution to meet our client’s mandate.

The Solution
MasterTop® 1210 is a multi-component solvent free epoxy floor coating system designed to offer continuous seamless floor protection at a thicknesses of between 1mm – 1.5mm.
This would offer a far more hygienic and very durable solution.
The Outcome
Apart from the installation challenges, the perfect product needed to be found and our solution provided for both. The end result was an expertly installed, perfectly flat, durable epoxy floor that looks great and will serve our client for many years with correct maintenance.
