Bookstore floors – Moroccan Tiles and Reclaimed Parquet
Similar project as the Hyde Park Exclusive Books floors.
The Challenge
Our challenge was to create a Moroccan themed floor for this Exclusive Books Bookstore, blended with wood and shattered tiles randomly installed to create an extremely beautiful rustic effect.
Moroccan Tiles and Reclaimed Parquet was specified by the design company and we worked with them during the planning phase of the project to make sure that the product specification was correct.

The Solution
On the product side – old, reclaimed Rhodesian Teak Parquet floors and specially made Moroccan Tiles sealed with CemenTech OptiSeal were an ideal solution for this particular specification.
On the installation side – we sourced reclaimed parquet, cleaned and sanded it, and ensured that the level transition between Moroccan tiles and wood was correct.
The Outcome
The end result of our product knowledge, installation experience and willingness to collaborate with the specifying team, was a professionally installed, beautiful Moroccan themed floor. A functional floor too, that will be in use for many years to come if properly maintained.
