Bookstore floors – Moroccan Tiles and Reclaimed Parquet
The Challenge
The Challenge was to provide our valued client Exclusive books with a Moroccan theme blended with wood. This was to deal with high traffic, so be hard wearing and highly attractive at the same time – in keeping with their upmarket look and feel.
The system was Moroccan tiles and reclaimed parquet inlays.
We worked with the specifying team during the planning phase of the project to make sure that the product specification was correct.
We sourced reclaimed parquet, cleaned and sanded it, and ensured that the level transition between Moroccan tiles and wood was correct.

The Solution
As always a large part of the solution lay in choosing the right system and products. In this case w used old, reclaimed Rhodesian Teak Parquet floors and especially made Moroccan Tiles sealed with CemenTech OptiSeal.
The Outcome
