The Challenge
For Retail Shop Floors, the Weber 4610 Industry-Top Cement screed.
The challenge faced with Retail Shop Floors, is that they need to be industrial strength floors, strong enough to take most traffic, but also look absolutely beautiful when installed. The client’s mandate was for a perfectly installed, strong, durable yet beautiful floor that would complement their highly fashionable clothing store. CT Floors have been installing floors for Superdry since 2016. We have never let them down and weren’t going to this time either.
The Weber 4610 Industry-Top Cement screed is perfect for this application and was our recommendation in this case. Working with the specifying team during the planning phase of the project was the first step to ensuring that the product specification was correct.
Once construction started, we regularly met with the main contractor to ensure that the substrate specification remained correct so that the flooring installation would go seamlessly.

The Solution
Our solution was a ‘no brainer’ in this instance and lay in the form of Weber 4610 Industry-Top – a pumpable, rapid hardening, self-levelling screed intended for use as a surface layer on industrial flooring. The material is especially suitable where renovation time is limited. Industry-Top is ready for normal traffic loading without further finishing, but may be coated with a suitable resin should this be required.

Once again we met the challenge and surpassed the mandate set by our loyal clients. The end result was a stunning, fashionable professionally installed, highly functional floor that will serve them for years to come if correctly maintained,
