The Challenge
For the Broadcast Lighting Retail Floor – Traviata FirmFit Vinyl Floor was specified.
In this project, the main concern was the weakness of the substrate, and the cost of replacing the screed. We therefore recommended that a “floating floor system” such as the FirmFit Click Vinyl be installed because it eliminates the risk of the product delaminating from the substrate if that fails.
We set out to firstly clean up the floor and to level undulating areas in order to ensure a flat surface onto which to lay the Vinyl floor.
We then also installed the skirting and transition trimmings for the project.
These projects are quick to install. From start to finish it took us three days.
