The Challenge
The client wanted a strong, durable, yet beautiful floor that would complement their new outlet. The challenge was to provide the right product and to ensure that the substrate specification remained correct so that the installation would go seamlessly.
The product chosen and specified was Saint-Gobain Weber 4650 Design Colour and we worked with the specifying team during the planning phase of the project to make sure that this product specification was correct.

The Solution
On the product side Saint-Gobain Weber 4650 Design Colour offered the solution in that it is a through-colour final finish self-levelling cementitious decorative overlay – perfect for commercial environments.
On the installation side – once construction started, we regularly met with the main contractor to ensure that substrate specification remained correct so that the installation would go seamlessly, as specified.
Installation was done in one day, and sealing commenced the next day. In all, we spent four days on the project preparing and installing.
The Outcome
Once again we had found the right solutions to meet the challenge and with a collaborative effort our client was provided with an expertly installed, functional and beautiful to look at floor that will be in use for many years if correctly maintained.
