Our challenge was to provide and install a strong, durable, yet beautiful floor that would complement the oriental rugs in our client, Pak Persian’s retail shop in the prestigious The Marc Shopping Centre in Sandton. An additional challenge was to fast-track the preparation and installation of the project to handover within four days!
Weber 4650 Design Colour decorative Self-Levelling screed was chosen because of its beauty, speed of installation and exceptional strength to withstand the traffic requirements of this upmarket, busy retail environment.

The Solution
For Retail shop floors, Weber 4650 Design Colour is a through-coloured, cement-based floor screed, containing special cement, sand and additional binders, and ideal for retail shop floors. The material is a pumpable, rapid-set and self-levelling compound. The range of colours, all with alkaline durable pigments, is extensive and includes: white, off-white, light grey, warm grey, dark grey, light yellow, beige, blue, terracotta and black.
Weber 4650 Design Colour is versatile too and can effectively be utilised in commercial, speciality and retail environments, store rooms and industries with light truckloads. The floor can be used to contribute to the aesthetic design of the room; however the method for the after treatment and floor maintenance must be adapted to the specific conditions of use.
